5. For what purposes do we use your personal data?

We collect your personal data and other information to provide a safe, optimal and personalized user experience for each service user. We may use the collected information for the following purposes:

Publication of your user profile. Social platforms mean you can connect with other users. We process your data into a unique user profile that is visible to other users, visitors to the platform and users of certain search engines. Users have control over the information in their profile and can choose whether their profile is included in public search results (via settings).

Improve platform functionality by analyzing and interpreting user statistics. We are happy to use new technologies to improve and update our products and services.

Advertising. Advertising enables us to provide you with rich content on our Services. Some of our advertising is based on the content of pages you view elsewhere on the Internet (i.e., online behavioral advertising). We believe that such tailored advertising is more relevant to you and, therefore, more engaging. We and our partners (including Facebook and Google) use your personal data to tailor advertising and, perhaps, even show it to you at the right time. For example, if you have our apps installed, you may see ads for our products in, for example, Facebook News. Additionally, you can reset your advertising identifier in the same section (which may also help you see less personalized ads).

Detect and protect against fraud, false and/or criminal activity, and violations of our Code of Conduct. This is essential in order to provide a safe and efficient platform. While we do not generally read or monitor the messages you send or receive through the Services, we reserve the right to access and review such messages to detect any fraud or other illegal and undesirable user behavior, to conduct background checks on users, or to take any legally required action. For example, we may take such action if we receive a large number of user complaints regarding the content of messages you send.

Routine membership management and delivery of paid services. This refers to any necessary measures taken to ensure that quality services are provided to users. We use information to provide you with personalized services, such as selecting available payment processors, determining your eligibility for promotions, and showing you personalized advertising. Some of the data we receive may be considered "sensitive data" due to its nature. Sensitive data refers to data related to your health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, and sexual orientation. Users are not required to share sensitive personal information in their profiles, but they can choose to do so. The processing of sensitive personal information is based solely on the purposes listed above. During the registration process, users explicitly consent to us processing all their personal data.

Comply with legal obligations. We may process, use or share your data when we are required to do so by law, in particular when law enforcement agencies have available legal means to request your data.
